One lane of the southbound A3 has been closed tonight after a two-vehicle smash near Buriton. A black Vauxhall Astra reportedly left the carriageway close to Weston Lane and the Buriton Business Centre following the collision.
Injuries Not Serious, No One Trapped
Hampshire Road Policing officers from Havant rushed to the scene. Fortunately, injuries to drivers are not thought to be serious, and no motorists were trapped inside their vehicles.

Traffic chaos has spread back towards the A3’s exit 11 as recovery work and a clean-up get underway. Commuters are facing delays of up to 40 minutes on their evening journeys.
