Just after 6.15am this morning (6 October), police rushed to the scene of a devastating three-vehicle crash on the Marchwood Bypass in Totton.
A blue Mercedes Sprinter van smashed into two motorcycles – a black Honda and a white Yamaha – causing a fatal collision on the busy A326.
Two Riders Killed at Scene
Tragically, both motorcycle riders died instantly. The victims have been identified as a 38-year-old man from Gosport and a 49-year-old man from southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton.
Specialist officers have informed and are supporting the families of the deceased at this heartbreaking time.
Road Closure and Urgent Police Appeal
Authorities have shut the A326 Marchwood Bypass in both directions while they investigate the crash’s exact cause.
Police urge anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles driving nearby beforehand to come forward immediately.
