Police rushed to Thompson Close, Ilford, after a road traffic collision was reported at around 8pm on 13 March. The incident happened close to Ilford Police Station.
Victim Injured, Moped Rider Flees
A man suffered leg and facial injuries when he was hit by a moped. Shockingly, the rider failed to stop or offer help, vanishing from the scene.
Thankfully, the man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police Hunt Hit-and-Run Moped Rider
A crime scene has been established, and police are urgently enquiring to locate the moped driver responsible for the collision.
