Man Found Dead in Southampton Home – Police Probe ‘Unexplained’ Death
Shock in Ocean Village after 54-year-old Weber Nogueira was found dead at his Channel Way home on Wednesday morning, March 22nd.
Police Launch Early Investigation, Seek Dashcam Footage
Hampshire Police have launched an inquiry treating the death as unexplained. Officers arrived at 11:16 a.m. and are working with specially trained teams to get to the bottom of what happened.
“We are in the early stages of this investigation and are keeping an open mind as to how Weber died,” said DCI Rod Kenny, leading the probe.
“I’d like to hear from anyone driving around Canute Road, Ocean Way, Channel Way, or nearby Ocean Village between 10:30pm Tuesday, March 21st, and 4:30am Wednesday, March 22nd, who has dashcam footage or any information.”
Public Reassured; Police Seek Witnesses
Chief Inspector Marcus Kennedy assured the public there’s no known threat at this time. More officers will patrol the Ocean Village area.
“Our thoughts are with the family of the man who died,” Kennedy added. “If you have information or concerns, please approach officers or report to police.”
