Armed Cops Detain Driver Outside Victorious Festival
Armed officers from Hampshire Police swooped on a white Mercedes van parked just outside the main entrance to the Victorious Festival this afternoon. Guns drawn, they searched the back of the vehicle before ordering the driver to move it shortly after 6.20pm.
Security Tightened Amid Terror Threats
With terror attacks hitting other parts of the UK recently, police remain on high alert. Armed officers will be patrolling the massive event all week, which is set to draw in around 30,000 revellers.
