M25 Chaos: Anti-Clockwise Shutdown Between J5 and J4 After Major Crash
The M25 is completely closed anti-clockwise between Junction 5 and Junction 4 following a collision involving a road sweeper and a crane.

Official Diversion Route Detailed
- From M25 Junction 5, take the A21 towards Sevenoaks.
- At the M25 spur/A21, take the 1st exit onto the A25 heading towards Sevenoaks.
- At the roundabout, follow the 1st exit onto the A25 towards Maidstone.
- At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the A224 towards Bromley.
- Cross the M26 and at the next roundabout take the 3rd exit towards Bromley.
- Continue to Hewitt’s Roundabout (A224/A21) and take the 5th exit onto the M25 link to rejoin the M25 at Junction 4.
Expect extended journey times as rush-hour traffic compounds delays. Avoid the area if you can.
