Diversion Route Explained
Follow the Hollow Circle diversion signs to avoid the closures
- Leave the M62 at Junction 8.
- At the roundabout for M62 J8/Burtonwood Road, take the fourth exit onto Burtonwood Road southbound.
- At the Burtonwood Road/Westbrook Way roundabout, take the first exit onto Westbrook Way heading east.
- At the Westbrook Way/A574 roundabout, take the first exit to follow the A574 northbound.
- At the A574/A49 junction, turn left and continue north on the A49.
- At the A49/M62 J9 roundabout, take the third exit to re-join the M62 eastbound at Junction 9.
Stick to these directions and keep an eye out for the Hollow Circle signs to dodge the traffic nightmare.
