A massive traffic headache is underway this morning as Watling Street remains closed after a nasty crash involving a car and a motorbike near Darent Valley Hospital.
Emergency Rush to Scene After 6am Crash
Just before 6:10am, police, Kent Fire and Rescue, and paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance scrambled to reports of a single-vehicle collision. The smash happened on Watling Street eastbound between Princes Road and Gore Road.
Two injured victims have been rushed to a local hospital. Details on their condition remain under wraps.
Road Closures Spark Chaos, Bus Routes Diverted
Watling Street has been shut since around 6am, with closures causing major delays across the area. Several bus routes, including the 96 and 428, are being diverted, adding to the disruption.
A police insider said:
“We were called just before 6.10am on Thursday, 27 March to reports of a single-vehicle collision on Watling Street, dartford/" title="Dartford" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Dartford. Emergency services attended and two people have been taken to hospital.”
