Teen Sisters Wash Cars to Fund Dad’s Funeral After Shocking Cancer Death
Tragedy struck a Berkshire family when Mark, 52, suddenly collapsed at home on July 18, 2016. The dad of four teenage daughters was rushed to Royal Berkshire Hospital, where doctors delivered a devastating diagnosis: advanced bowel and liver cancer, plus septicemia. No one saw it coming.
From Collapse to Tragedy in Just 18 Hours
Mark had been silently battling agonising pain without telling his family. The medics revealed he had only hours to live. Surrounded by his daughters, partner, and stepson, Mark passed away peacefully the next morning at 4:41am.
“He told us he loved us and was proud of us, even though he could barely speak,” one daughter shared.
Four Young Sisters Rally to Help
Left reeling and heartbroken, the family now face the crippling costs of a sudden funeral. The four daughters, aged 18, 17, 15, and 14, have taken to washing cars to raise money and honour their dad properly.
