Andover Murder Probe: 71-Year-Old Man Arrested
Detectives have swooped on a 71-year-old man from Andover, arresting him on suspicion of murder in the death of Malcolm Cox.
Horrific Attack Leaves 84-Year-Old Dead
Emergency crews were called to a Bell Road address just before 8.30am on Tuesday, November 15, after Mr Cox, 84, was found with a deep laceration to the back of his head.
He was rushed to North Hampshire Hospital, Basingstoke, but tragically died the following morning, Wednesday, November 16.
New Arrest After Woman Released on Bail
A 38-year-old woman from Andover, initially arrested on suspicion of murder, has since been released on police bail until March 7, 2017, as inquiries continue.
The 71-year-old man remains in custody as detectives dig deeper into this shocking case.
