Tragic Death of 10-Year-Old Boy After Furniture Accident in Reading Shop

A 10-year-old boy has died following a shocking accident involving a piece of furniture inside the Topshop at the Oracle Shopping Centre in Reading.

Incident Unfolds at Oracle Centre

Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after 4pm today. Paramedics and Thames Valley Police found the boy lying on the floor with severe head injuries. He was immediately rushed to Royal Berkshire Hospital, but tragically, he later passed away.

Investigation Underway

The South Central Ambulance Service confirmed they were called at around 4.15pm to attend the incident inside the retail store. The cause of the accident remains unclear. Authorities describe the death as unexplained but not suspicious. The boy’s family have been informed.

Police and hospital officials are continuing the probe into what exactly happened inside the store to prevent any future tragedies.
