Tenth Victim Named who was Killed in Manchester Terror Attack

Another victim of the Manchester terror attack has been named as Martyn Hett of Stockport. The 29-year-old was attending the Ariana Grande concert with his friend when he got separated moments before the blast. He is the 10th person to be named following Monday night’s atrocities Martyn was an outgoing, fun, loving person who was due to fly out to America today for a two-month adventure. His ex-boyfriend, and long-term friend, Russell Hayward, confirmed the news on Facebook this morning. Martyn, famed for appearances on Come Dine With Me and Tattoo Fixers – the latter saw him change a piece of ink work on his leg for a larger piece of the infamous Deirdre Barlow behind bars from Coronation Street. Friends of Martyn were quick to pay tribute to the man. ames Bourke said: “It’s devastating. He was the life of any party that I saw him at. He was a great guy.” Mark Holbrook added: “It was immediately plain to see to anyone who met him he was a vibrant, exciting and fun-loving person and the life of any occasion.” Jamie Henderson wrote: “He just had an aura that brightened up the room. A guy that will be sadly missed.” Personally, too, I knew Martyn. I spoke to him on Thursday and he was so excited for America. His personality was there for all to see; he’d even booked an extra two weeks on his holiday just in case he made new friends and wanted to spend more time with them. We spoke about his love of ’90s television, ahead of an article about Supermarket Sweep. His character was demonstrated through one photo that he sent me.
