Man dies following collision in Charlwood
A man has died following a collision in Charlwood this morning (2 October). The single vehicle collision, involving a blue Iveco panel van, took place in Norwood Hill near the Fox Revived public house around 9.50am. The driver of the van, a man in his 50s, was treated at the scene but was sadly pronounced dead around 10.25am. The road remained closed fora number of hours in both directions while emergency services, including the air ambulance and fire and ambulance crews, dealt with the incident. Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has any other information which could help to establish the circumstances of the incident, is asked to contact Surrey Police on 101, quoting incident reference number P17249478.
