Detectives Have Released Cctv Of A Man Following Bromley Burglary

Detectives have released CCTV of a man following Bromley Burglary

Detectives have released CCTV of a man they wish to identify after a residential address was burgled in West Wickham. Police were called at approximately 21:55hrs on Tuesday, 27 March to reports of a burglary at an address on Oaklands Avenue, BR4. Between 20:30hrs and 20:40hrs, a man broke into the address via the back door whilst the homeowner, a 71-year-old man, was out. The suspect entered the kitchen before seeing an internal security camera and turning it off. He then proceeded to steal jewellery and perfume belonging to the victim’s late parents. DC Chris Taylor, who leads the investigation for Bromley Police, said: “Did you see the man pictured in this CCTV in the area on Tuesday, 27 March or know of his whereabouts now? This was a brazen burglary which has left an elderly man feeling unsafe in his own home and I would urge anyone with information to get in touch.” Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 and quote CAD 8387/27mar or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
