Crash Sparks Midnight Manhunt

Armed Response Roads Policing officers on the Isle of Wight are in hot pursuit tonight after a green Peugeot 106 slammed into a road sign and flipped over on Winston Avenue, Binsted. The driver fled the scene before police and emergency crews arrived.

Fleeing Duo Nearly Hit Pedestrian

A local resident who called in the incident just after 9pm revealed the driver and a passenger jumped from the wrecked car and made off on foot – narrowly missing a pedestrian in the chaos. The witness asked to remain anonymous.

Police Dog Called In to Track Fugitives

It’s still unknown if either of the two suffered injuries from the rollover. A police dog has joined the search effort to track down the suspects as officers comb the area.
