Major search after someone is spotted in the water on the River Medway

A search is continuing involving Kent Fire and Rescue service, Kent Police and Coastguard search and rescue teams after emergency services were altered to a suspected person in the water on the River Medway. https:///youtu.be/OYe0LYnfwyc Emergency services were called just after 3pm on Thursday afternoon. Firefighters from the Technical rescue unit have developed a drone to assist with search a large area of scrub. Two fire boat have also been deployed to search the river between Halling and Wouldham.

A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service, said: “”Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to assist Kent Police at an incident on the River Medway just before 5pm.
