Woman Brutally Attacked in Hastings Old Town
Sussex Police are hunting for witnesses after a woman in her 30s was viciously assaulted in Hastings on Friday night.
Blow to the Face and Body
The victim had climbed the steps from 1 Place in Hastings Old Town, sitting on the second to last bench near the top of West Hill. At around 9:30pm, a man with long hair approached her from behind and launched a brutal attack.
She was punched and kicked, suffering multiple facial and abdominal injuries. The woman was rushed to Conquest Hospital for treatment.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Despite a police search of the area, the attacker remains on the loose. Sussex Police have urged anyone who saw a suspicious man in the area to contact them immediately.
