Three arrested in fatal hit and run probe
Police are seeking witnesses to a fatal road incident in Rudgwick. Shortly before 11:30pm on Thursday 13 August, a 30-year-old man was found lying in Loxwood Road, Tismans Common, Rudgwick, and despite the efforts of paramedics was tragically confirmed deceased at the scene. Police have seized a car found nearby and three men aged 48, 41 and 25, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. They are currently in custody for interview and further enquiries. Detective Inspector Sue Neilson of the Surrey and Sussex Police Serious Collision Investigations Unit said; “This investigation is still in its early stages and we are working to establish exactly what happened. “We are appealing for any witnesses or anyone else with information to contact us either online or at [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting Operation Flagstone.
