£30k Jewellers Heist in Leeds – Thieves Smash and Grab
At around 6.15pm on Tuesday, a brazen smash-and-grab rocked Rajput Jewellers on Roundhay Road. Thugs used a black Nissan Turano to ram the shop, causing serious damage before making off with £30,000 worth of jewellery.
Stolen Cars Abandoned in Getaway
The Nissan Turano used in the raid was left at the scene. The crooks fled in a Nissan Juke, later found abandoned in Leeds’ Burmantofts. Police confirmed the Juke had itself been reported stolen earlier in the week.
