Police called were called at 7.04pm after a man was reported to have fallen from a boat into the River Lea canal near the A104/ Lea Bridge #E5.
Specialist units have searched extensively for the male, who has so far not been found. Police have been working with the LFB
Work to locate the man is ongoing. Police remain at scene.
