Man Found Dead Near Reading Council Offices
Tragedy struck Bridge Street, Reading, this morning just before 8:50am when police were called after the body of a man was discovered close to the Reading Borough Council offices.
Man in His 30s Confirmed Dead at Scene
South Central Ambulance Service confirmed the man, believed to be in his 30s, was dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from officers.
Police Treat Death as Unexplained but Not Suspicious
A cordon remains in place as Thames Valley Police investigate. The death is currently being treated as unexplained, though not suspicious. A file is being prepared for the coroner.
