Witnesses Are Sought Following A Collision Between A Lorry And A Barrier On The M25 In Kent

 

 

Officers are investigating the incident, which happened at 1.20pm on 7 April 2021 on the anticlockwise carriageway of junction two on the M25.

 

The lorry caused significant damage to the barrier, which resulted in the A2 London bound being closed.

 

No serious injuries were reported following the incident, but the roads were not reopened until around 2am on 8 April following completion of repairs.

 

Investigators are appealing for motorists with dash cam footage who may have witnessed the incident, or the moments leading up to it.

 

Investigating officer PC Harriet Hamilton of the Roads Policing Unit said: ‘Since the incident we have carried out various lines of enquiry and have also spoken to a number of witnesses.

 

‘We do however believe there are more witnesses who have information who we have yet to talk to and I would like to urge those people to get in touch with us.’
