Violent Scuffle Erupts Near Harbour Way
Police were scrambled to Dover Road on Wednesday evening after reports of a violent clash between two groups. The fight broke out at around 8.10pm close to the junction with Harbour Way. Witnesses spotted one group arriving in two cars before tensions boiled over.
Victims Hurt, Including One Stabbed
The South East Coast Ambulance Service and police rushed to the scene. A man sustained a stab wound and was rushed to a local hospital. Two more men also sought hospital treatment for their injuries following the fracas.
Multiple Arrests Made in Connection With Assault
Detectives launched an investigation and apprehended five men from Folkestone. Four were arrested on suspicion of assault. Among them, an 18-year-old faced an extra cannabis possession charge, while a 41-year-old was also held for violent disorder. A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. All remain in custody.
