Price, 43, travelled across the Solent on a RIB from Lymington, arriving a short time later at Colwell Bay in the West Wight.
Once ashore, Katie and her latest fiancé, Carl Woods, accompanied by her children Jett and Bunny, enjoyed lunch at The Hut. Katie, famously known for being a top model and one of the most rememberable I’m a Celebrity contestants, enjoyed oysters with plenty of tabasco sauce.
The family then travelled across the Island to Newport, taking in the glorious sunshine and scenery on their way.
Katie is no stranger to the Isle of Wight as it is understood her mum used to live in Cowes. Price’s visit back in 2012, which included a trip to Robin Hill. Just 3 years previously, in 2009, she visited Blackgang Chine.
For this year’s staycation getaway a trip to Monkey Haven was on the agenda for the Price family. Keepers at the Staplers Road attraction gave Katie a tour of the park, explaining the conservation work taking place here on the Island.
The entire trip was documented via social media to Katie’s 2.6million Instagram followers, which does wonders for marketing the Isle of Wight as a top holiday destination this summer.
