Tragic Blaze in Mid-Terrace House Claims Woman’s Life

Firefighters battled a fierce blaze at a two-storey mid-terraced house, which gutted most of the ground floor. A woman was bravely rescued from the first floor by crews wearing breathing apparatus but sadly died at the scene.

Massive Response from Local Fire Stations

The fire brigade was called out at 10pm, dispatching six fire engines and around 40 firefighters. The flames were brought under control just before midnight. Firefighters from Harold Hill, Romford, Hornchurch, Dagenham, and nearby stations all rushed to the emergency.
