Teen Thugs Convicted Over Brutal Handsworth Killing
Fifteen-year-old Keon Lincoln was shot in the stomach and then stabbed repeatedly on the ground in broad daylight in Handsworth, West Midlands, this January. The vicious attack shocked the community.
Four Teens Found Guilty of Murder
A 14-year-old boy from Birmingham, who cannot be named due to his age, showed little emotion as he was unanimously convicted of murder. A 16-year-old from Walsall, also unnamed under court order, was caught on CCTV wielding a large knife and found guilty of murder.
Two others, 18-year-olds Tahjgeem Breakenridge from Balsall Heath and Michael Ugochukwu from Edgbaston, were also convicted after nearly 16 hours of jury deliberations. The verdicts came following a harrowing trial.
Additional Weapon Charges and Ongoing Deliberations
- The 14-year-old was also convicted of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
- The 16-year-old, Breakenridge, and Ugochukwu were found guilty of carrying offensive weapons.
- Jurors will return to consider the charges against 18-year-old Kieron Donaldson, who denies murder, tomorrow.
