Chaos on Farleigh Wick Road as Car Hits Fallen Tree
Emergency crews rushed to Farleigh Wick at around 12:20pm after a car smashed into a fallen tree. The crash sparked a road closure as firefighters battled to free the three trapped occupants.
Three Hurt, One in Serious Condition
All three passengers were rescued by fire teams. One was rushed to Southmead Hospital, another taken to Bristol Royal Infirmary, while the driver remains in a serious condition at Southmead.
Road Shutdown to Last for Hours
Investigators slammed the road shut, saying it could stay closed for several hours as they scour the scene. Drivers are advised to steer clear and find alternative routes.
