Essex Duo Busted for String of Burglaries and Car Theft

Robert Davanzo, 28, from Molehill Green, Dunmow, Essex, and a 16-year-old lad from Braintree were charged with conspiracy to burgle after a probe by the Chief Constable’s Crime Squad.

Four Break-Ins and a Car Heist

The charges relate to four break-ins on Wednesday 16 February 2022. Cash and jewellery were reported stolen from homes in Willesborough, Greatstone, and Hythe.

They are also accused of stealing a car and car keys from Hawkins Road, Folkestone, on Monday 21 February.

More Charges: Dangerous Driving and No Insurance

  • Both charged with driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence
  • Both charged with driving without insurance
  • Davanzo faces an extra count of dangerous driving

Court Date Set

The pair appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Friday 25 February. They were remanded ahead of a hearing at Canterbury Crown Court on 28 March.
