Gun and Ammo Seized in Vauxhall Raid
Just before 10pm on Friday, 6 May, Merseyside Police swooped on a property in Lyle Street, Vauxhall. Officers found a firearm and ammunition during the search.
Three Men from Liverpool Arrested
Three males, aged 21, 19, and 17, all from Liverpool, were arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm without a certificate. They were taken into custody for questioning.
One Charged, Two Bailed
Joseph Childs, 21, of Lyle Street, Liverpool, has now been charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition. He’s been remanded in custody and is due in court on Monday, 9 May.
The 17-year-old and 19-year-old have been released on bail with strict conditions.
