Monster James Alexander Freeman Jailed for 10 Years in Sex Crime Spree
On Tuesday, July 5, 2022, James Alexander Freeman was slammed with a decade behind bars at Edinburgh High Court. The depraved offender was found guilty of multiple sex crimes committed between 2014 and 2018 across homes in North East Scotland.
Victim’s Courage Leads to Justice
Detective Sergeant Frank McDermott praised the bravery of the victim who stepped forward. “I would like to commend the victim who came forward to report Freeman’s crimes and displayed great courage in speaking out,” he said.
Police Urge Other Victims to Speak Up
“We take all reports of sexual crimes seriously and sensitively,” said DS McDermott. “I encourage anyone affected by sexual offences to come forward and report to the Police in confidence. We will investigate thoroughly.”
