Schoolgirl Targeted in Creepy Van Incident in Gedling
A young girl had a terrifying encounter on Arnold Lane, Gedling, just after 8am on Wednesday (30 November 2022).
Man in Van Approached Girl — But Didn’t Follow
Inspector Mark Stanley of Nottinghamshire Police revealed the chilling details: “The girl wasn’t harmed. The man didn’t get out of the van or follow her.” The girl ran to a nearby shop and police were quickly called.
Police Hunt for White Van and Masked Man
Officers are scouring the area, checking CCTV, and chasing all leads to find the van and its driver. Witnesses described the suspect as white and wearing a surgical mask.
“We treat reports of this nature extremely seriously,” said Inspector Stanley. “Our investigation is ongoing to understand the full circumstances.”
