Rolex Heist Shocker in Cheltenham Jeweller
Police in Gloucestershire are on the hunt for two suspects linked to a daring Rolex theft at a Cheltenham jeweller last month. The brazen daylight robbery took place on High Street around 1.30pm on Thursday, June 8.
Couple Caught on Camera Swiping £4,000 Watch
A man and woman walked into the shop pretending to browse. While the woman distracted staff by inspecting items, the man targeted a display case by the window. He allegedly forced it open, grabbing a £4,000 Rolex with a grey dial and black leather strap housed in chrome.
After snatching the watch, the pair had a quick chat before making off. Two other people were seen loitering outside and all four left the scene together.
Gloucestershire Police Appeal for Help
Officers say inquiries are ongoing but they urgently want to speak with the man and woman pictured. Anyone with information should contact Gloucestershire Constabulary quoting incident 324 of June 8 via their official website.
