Serious Crash on A2 in Teynham Leaves Two Motorcyclists Hospitalised
A nasty smash on the A2, Teynham, has left two motorcyclists seriously injured and one person in custody. The collision happened around 7.20pm on Friday, 17 March 2023.
Two Motorbikes and Car Collide on Busy Road
The crash involved two motorbikes and a blue Volvo V40 car. One bike, a blue Suzuki GSXR, carried a rider and passenger who both suffered serious injuries. They remain in hospital.
Second Motorcyclist Arrested for Dangerous Driving
The second rider, on a white Honda CBR, escaped with minor injuries but was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink or drugs and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. The 22-year-old man from Sittingbourne has been released on bail.
The passenger of this bike also sustained minor injuries.
Car Occupants Unscathed
The two occupants of the blue Volvo walked away unhurt.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Investigators are urging anyone who saw the crash or the vehicles’ movements before the collision to get in touch.
