Horror Crash in Larkhill Leaves Taxi Passenger Fighting for Life

Head-On Smash at 3am

In the early hours, around 3am, two vehicles crashed head-on on The Packway, Larkhill, close to the garrison church of St Alban the Martyr. One of the vehicles involved was a private hire taxi.

Man in 30s Critically Injured

A male passenger in the taxi, aged in his 30s, suffered life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to Southampton General Hospital">Southampton General Hospital for emergency treatment.

Three Others Hurt but Stable

Three other men – aged 20s, 30s, and 40s – were taken to Salisbury District Hospital. Their injuries are believed to be minor.

Investigation Underway as Road Remains Closed

Police are conducting a full collision investigation. The road through Larkhill is expected to stay closed for several hours while enquiries continue.
