Sniffer Dog Ciara Nabs Two Suspects Fast
Thanet’s Local Policing Team, backed by dog handler and Police Dog Ciara, swooped within 30 minutes. Two men were caught and arrested on the spot.
Burglary and Theft Charges Laid
- Lee Kennelly, 39, with no fixed address, and Kelvin Barham, 36, from Canterbury’s Becket Avenue, have been charged with burglary.
- Kennelly faces an extra five counts of theft linked to shoplifting across Ramsgate, Margate, and Canterbury between January and April 2023.
Magistrates Court Update
Both appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 13 April. They were remanded in custody and are set to return on Thursday 20 April.
