Jewellery and prized cutlery snatched in broad daylight burglary while owner in garden!
Raid Hits Wittersham Home in Afternoon
A thief struck between 4pm and 5:30pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023, in the Poplar Road area of Wittersham. The victim was outside in the garden when the burglar made off with a haul of valuable items.
Stolen Treasures Include Diamond Brooch and Vintage Watches
Cash was taken from a purse, but the crook’s loot didn’t stop there. They also grabbed a sparkling diamond and ruby brooch, an old pocket watch tucked in a brown leather case, and a gold-plated wristwatch.
Cutlery Set with Royal Markings Vanishes
The heist included a unique cutlery collection stamped with HM King markings. The missing items are:
- Dinner forks
- Tablespoons
- Cake slice
- Dessert spoons
- Knives
- Trefid spoon
- Six cake knives and cake forks
