The Premier League Title Race – Is It Simply Manchester City Vs. Arsenal?

There have been a lot of key matches so far, and they are going to determine the Premier League title race. The Premier League is now back for another season and it is going to kick off on Friday night. This is when Burnley are going to be hosting Manchester uk/topic/city" title="City" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="42485">City. More matches will be played during the campaign and it is going to conclude on the 19th of May. There are now 20 sides that are running for the title but when you break it all down, it’s evident to see that only a handful are going to be able to compete for the trophy.

The strength of Manchester City and the Big Six really does mean that it is going to be less of a fairytale for Leicester City and that this is going to become less likely with each passing year. By the looks of things, City are going for the sixth title in seven years and they are going to be yet again challenged by Arsenal. The Gunners are going to be leading for the majority of the season and they are going to be in the middle of a winning streak as well. The only side that is going to break the monopoly of the title in the last six seasons would be if they won, and the favourites are going to be with the bookies.

This is going to be ahead of Manchester United. Right now, it seems that predictions are in fact difficult. If you ask the Mirror’s writers, who have gone as far to make theirs public, you will soon see that at a glance, it does look to be a wise move.

Newcastle United vs. Liverpool

At the end of the day, if Liverpool are title contenders then there is going to be a good indication from this match. Liverpool could well struggle if they want to hit the ground running. The Reds do have a fantastic running record against Newcastle and they have managed to go 13 matches unbeaten with them. This stretches back to December. Jurgen Klopp’s side can be put down early in the campaign and it looks like things are going to be getting better from here. The Box-Office Fixture

The first box-office fixture of the season looks to be coming from the Emirates. This is happening in early September. The Gunners have had a very soft landing this season and they are due to go up against Crystal Palace, Fulham and even Nottingham Forest. United look to be the only team who are going to go up against Arsenal during their first few matches of the season. When you add Marcus Rashford to the mix, you will soon see that it is possible for this trick to repeat itself and this is great, to say the least.

Arsenal are Losing their Fixtures

Arsenal have lost their league fixtures against Pep Guardiola and this happened last season. They have been defeated a total of eight times in every competition and they have also come away with the community shield. Guardiola has a very clear advantage and this is especially the case when you look at their protege. That being said, things could well be different this time around. Erling Haaland managed to score a hat-trick in Manchester and this is great, to say the least.
