An officer who accessed police computers without a reason to do so has been dismissed from the Met

PC Mohammed Sardar, attached to the East Basic Command Unit, was found to have breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour about discreditable conduct.

Following an IOPC-led investigation, a misconduct hearing was held on Wednesday, 20 December which heard that between 2018 and 2021 PC Sardar accessed police computers to obtain information about investigations without a policing purpose.
