Second Man Charged Over Murder of Jack Hague in Tower Hamlets
A second suspect has been charged in the brutal murder of Jack Hague in Tower Hamlets. Umair Rafiq, 35, with no fixed address, was arrested on Sunday, 12 May. He is set to appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 13 May, facing murder charges.
First Suspect Already Charged
Earlier, Mohammed Ikram Uddin, 24, also with no fixed address, was charged with murder on Friday, 10 May. He will appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 14 May.
Fatal Stabbing on Corfield Street
The police launched a murder investigation after being called to reports of a fight at around 8:20 pm on Sunday, 5 May on Corfield Street, E2. Officers found 38-year-old Jack Hague with a stab wound. Despite efforts from both police and paramedics, he tragically died at the scene.
