Kent Police have dropped a CCTV snap of a man they believe is linked to a sexual assault in Whitstable. The shocking incident happened just after 11:30 AM on Friday, June 21, 2024, on Canterbury Road. A woman was inappropriately touched over her clothing.

Detective Pleads for Public Help Despite Poor Image Quality

Detective Constable Sian Smith, leading the inquiry, admits the footage isn’t crystal clear but is hopeful it will spark someone’s memory. She said, “Although the image is not of the best quality, we are hopeful that it may jog someone’s memory or help someone recognise the man pictured.”
