Police Appeal for Witnesses After Fatal Incident on A21 Near Pembury

Kent Police are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage after a man in his 40s tragically died on the A21 near Pembury on Saturday evening (16 November 2024).

Incident Details

Officers were called to the scene shortly after 6 PM following reports of a serious collision on the coastbound carriageway of the A21.

The victim, who was driving a white Isuzu pickup truck with a trailer, had reportedly collided with the central reservation before exiting his vehicle. While on foot, he was struck by a grey Vauxhall Vivaro and a grey Skoda Kodiaq.

Despite the efforts of medical crews, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

 

 


Police Investigation

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is conducting inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Officers are particularly interested in:

  • Witness accounts from anyone who saw the initial collision or the events leading up to the fatal incident.
  • Dashcam footage from drivers travelling on the A21 near Pembury around the time of the collision.
