A woman who tragically died after falling from a bridge onto the M20 coastbound carriageway near Junction 9 has been named as 25-year-old Dani Tuohy, from Ashford.
The incident occurred last Thursday afternoon, with emergency services responding to reports of a woman who had fallen onto the motorway. Dani was reportedly wearing hospital clothing at the time of the incident. Despite the efforts of emergency personnel, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kent Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, and have appealed for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
A police spokesperson said: “Our thoughts are with Dani’s family at this incredibly difficult time. We are working hard to understand what happened and to provide answers for her loved ones.”
