Vandals Wreak Havoc in Crawley – Police Hunt Masked Thugs
Bricks, Machetes and Stones: Crawley Home Under Siege
A Crawley property on Irving Walk has been targeted by vandals multiple times over the last few months. It all began on September 14, 2024, when a brick smashed a window frame. Then, in a brazen attack just after 4am on October 26, a machete was used to smash the porch glass.
CCTV Catches Masked Culprits, But Faces Hidden
Police reviewing the footage spotted two suspects at the scene. Unfortunately, both had covered faces, making ID tricky. The crime spree didn’t stop there.
Latest Attack: Stone Smashes Window in Early Morning Raid
On February 5, 2025, at 2:30am, CCTV caught a suspect throwing a stone through a downstairs window. Witnesses described the culprit wearing a distinctive long black puffer jacket, navy joggers, white socks, and black sliders. The stone shattered the glass, adding to the property’s mounting damage.
