Durham Police launch urgent hunt for quadbike hit-and-run suspects in Darlington
Crash Chaos on Neasham Road
At 4:40pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, two red quadbikes slammed into a white Renault Clio on Neasham Road, Darlington. The car was turning right into Lewes Road when the quadbikes collided with it, sending the vehicles into a pedestrian and a nearby house wall. The pedestrian suffered severe injuries.
Quadbike Riders Flee Scene
Shockingly, the two men driving the quadbikes didn’t stop. They sped off immediately after the crash, leaving the injured pedestrian behind. Durham Police have now launched an urgent appeal to track down the suspects.
Police Seek Witnesses and Footage
Officers are calling for anyone who:
- Witnessed the collision
- Has CCTV or dashcam footage from Neasham Road or nearby areas around the time
- Recognises the two red quadbikes or knows the riders
