Teenager Stabbed in the Head in Colindale
A 14-year-old boy was found with a knife wound to his head in a shocking assault near Colindale Station on Friday evening. Emergency services rushed to Guardian Avenue at 5:13 pm on March 7 after reports of a stabbing at a residential property.
Suspect Arrested on Attempted Murder Charges
Police arrested a 39-year-old man at the scene, suspecting him of attempted murder. He remains in custody as investigations continue. Authorities have confirmed no one else is being sought in connection with the incident.
Victims’ Condition and Police Appeal
- The 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital with a head injury that is not life-threatening.
- A 14-year-old girl also suffered minor injuries, though police have not confirmed if a knife was involved.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Officers attended the scene at Guardian Avenue, NW9, where a 14-year-old boy had a knife injury to the head. He was taken to hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.”
“A 14-year-old girl also suffered minor injuries. A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.”
“Police are not looking for anyone else. Enquiries continue.”
