Safety Alert Issued After Shocking Indecent Exposure on Thames Path

Neighbours and joggers along the scenic Thames Path are on edge after multiple reports of a male runner exposing himself in broad daylight. The unsettling incidents have sparked fresh calls for public vigilance and police action.

Grotesque Act by Male Jogger

Witnesses describe the man as a tall white male, around 6ft, with grey hair. He was seen donning all-black running gear and a black water pack strapped across his chest and back. The disturbing detail? The runner wore very short shorts that left his genitals exposed as he passed women jogging or walking nearby.

Eye-witnesses say the suspect deliberately glanced back at female victims, making it clear the exposure was no accident but a brazen act of indecency.

Two Shocking Incidents Reported

The first incident hit on December 31, 2024. The second, equally brazen, happened just this Saturday morning (March 15) at 10:01am, on a busy stretch of the Thames Path crowded with pedestrians.

Police on Alert – Public Urged to Stay Sharp

Police have been informed and confirm an active investigation. Meanwhile, locals and path users are urged to stay alert and report any sightings immediately.

“We want to ensure women feel safe and that this individual is caught before this behaviour escalates. Please keep an eye out, and if you see him, try to take a photo to pass on to the police,” said a concerned local.

How to Report Suspected Offender

  • Call 101 to report any sightings to the Metropolitan Police.
  • In an emergency or if you witness the act in progress, dial 999 immediately.
  • If safe, take a photo or video to aid police investigations.

The police urge anyone who has seen similar behaviour, even if not initially reported, to come forward.

Community Warning

This incident is a stark reminder to report all indecent or suspicious behaviour, no matter how minor. Authorities stress that indecent exposure is a criminal offence and must be treated seriously to keep the community safe.
