Police Appeal for Witness After Teenager Hit by Motorcycle in Swindon

Wiltshire Police are appealing for a potential witness to come forward following a collision involving a teenager and a motorcycle in Swindon.

The incident took place on Havisham Drive at approximately 7pm on Sunday, 31 March 2025, when a 15-year-old boy was struck by a black Chopper-style motorcycle. The boy sustained minor injuries, and the motorcyclist failed to stop at the scene.

The rider is described as a man in his mid-40s, wearing a black helmet and with a greying beard.

Police believe a woman walking a black dog was nearby at the time and may have witnessed the collision. Officers are urging her to come forward to assist with ongoing enquiries.

“We’re keen to speak with this woman as she may hold vital information that could help us identify the rider and understand the full circumstances of the incident,” said a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.
