High Wycombe Drug Dealer Jailed for Over Five Years
Sharakat Ali Locked Up for Supplying Class A Drugs
A High Wycombe man has been sentenced to five years and seven months behind bars following a major drug bust. Sharakat Ali, 45, from Chairborough Road, was handed the prison sentence at Aylesbury Crown Court on Thursday, April 17.
Ali pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply both cocaine and heroin, two of the UK’s most dangerous Class A drugs.
Failed Slave Defence Falls Flat in Court
During the hearing, Ali tried to claim “exceptional circumstances” by alleging he was a victim of modern-day slavery. The court rejected this defence and pressed ahead with the tough custodial sentence.

The sentencing follows a thorough investigation by Thames Valley Police into drug dealing in the Wycombe area. Officers uncovered clear evidence of Ali’s involvement in pushing harmful drugs on the streets.
“This sentence sends a clear message that we will not tolerate the supply of harmful substances in our communities. Drug dealing ruins lives, and we are committed to bringing those responsible to justice,” said a police spokesperson.
