Mother Charged with Murder of Toddler in Telford Tragedy
A 30-year-old woman has been charged with murder after the heartbreaking death of two-year-old Eliza Ngaba.
Sarah Ngaba Faces Murder Charge
Sarah Ngaba, currently held at HMP Foston Hall in Derbyshire, has been formally charged in connection with Eliza’s death at Princess Royal Hospital, Telford, on August 15, 2022.
She is due to appear at Telford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 6, where she will be officially charged with murder.
Dark Past Comes to Light
Ngaba has a disturbing criminal history. In November 2020, she was convicted of grievous bodily harm with intent and sentenced to 14 years in custody.

West Mercia Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Eliza’s death.
