Car Crashes Into Bungalow in Belvedere – Driver Hospitalised and Property Severely Damaged

Emergency services were called to a serious collision in Belvedere after a car crashed into a bungalow on Bedonwell Road in the early hours of Tuesday, 27 May 2025.

The incident occurred just before 3am, near the junction with Hythe Avenue, leaving both the vehicle and property extensively damaged. The impact caused significant structural damage to the front of the bungalow, with photos showing debris scattered across the driveway.

One Man Injured

A man in his 40s, believed to be the driver of the vehicle, sustained injuries and was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service. His condition is currently unknown but not believed to be life-threatening.

A source for the Metropolitan Police confirmed:

“We were called shortly before 3am to reports of a car in collision with a house on Bedonwell Road, Belvedere. One man was injured and taken to hospital. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”

Property Damage and Ongoing Investigation

Firefighters and structural engineers were called to the scene to assess the damage to the property. No residents of the bungalow were reported injured.

Investigators are now working to establish how the collision occurred, and it is not yet known whether any arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
